In Capodistria wine district the spirits are still produced traditionally from Refosco grapes growing in the Sv. Maria on Šmarje hill.
Exceptionally clean grappa contains high contents of alchohol.
Barrique is a true specialty, maturing in barrique barrels for two years. Recommended serving temperature is 18°C.
