Rehoboam
Rehoboam ("he who makes people great ...") bears the name of the biblical king, the only true son
of King Salomon and the grandfather of King David, third sovereign in the house of David and the first sovereign of Jews.
In Santomas rehoboam bottles are filled only with the best the cellar has to offer – Grande Cuvée. Intended as a present for special someones in our lives and hearts as well as for charity auctions, only 144 bottles are filled. At Santomas first charity auction, celebrating its 10th anniversary two rehoboams were successfully sold.
As any true lover is aware, in larger bottles the aging process takes a bit longer. Thus he is patient, cherishing the wine, tending to it, waiting for the time to come, when he will consume his wine in the presence of special someones in his life.

- Rehoboam (4,5 L) Grande Cuvée 2000
A truly exceptional wine prevailing Refosco with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot was produced in the sacred year 2000. L. N. Glavina decided to give it a grand name, "Grande Cuvée".

Aging potential: another 20 years (Igor Jakomin, October 2007) - Rehoboam (4,5 L) Grande Cuvée 2004 Certeze
Rehoboam Grande Cuvée – Certeze 2004 is produced in a "sacred" place, the "grand cru" of Santomas estate - Certeze, where the most quality grapes of Istrian autochthonous refosco (100%) grow.
It is not merely a wine, it is "soul food", as the house enologists Claude Gros poetically says, proving that effort and love even in average vintage years as 2004, can produce a truly great wine, Grande Cuvée.
The wine is unfiltered, maturing in French barrique barrels for 24 months and manually filled into 144 Rehoboam bottles. Requires decanting 3 to 4 hours prior to serving at room temperature (20°C)
Aging potential: at least 40 years (Igor Jakomin, October 2007)
